L.Co has made the perfect finish as easy as 1, 2. We have developed two products that work hand in hand to give you a coating that is both durable and flexible with the appearance of a traditional hand rubbed finish. Our first step is L.Co Exterior Oil Treatment which has a large percentage of tung and linseed natural drying oils that are absorbed into the wood grain and emphasize the natural figure and color depth of the wood. You can add as much or as little as you would like. Our second step is L.Co Exterior Varnish, a fast drying topcoat that will give you the protection you need for areas like tabletops and flooring. We still formulate our Exterior Varnish with natural drying oils but we add a higher percentage of our durable resin to help protect the wood from marring, water damage, and general daily use.
Exterior Oil Treatment
L.Co Exterior Oil Treatment is an exterior deep oil pre-treatment and wood conditioner that is applied to new wood prior to using L.Co Exterior Varnish. Using Exterior Oil Treatment has been shown to significantly reduce cracking, helps prevent discoloration and extends the life of finishing on outdoor surfaces such as fencing, railings, patio furniture, siding, doors, boats and marine surfaces. LCo Exterior Oil Treatment is formulated with maximum UV absorbers and a high percentage of raw tung and linseed oils.
L.Co Exterior Varnish has been formulated for use on outdoor surfaces such as fencing, railings, patio furniture, siding, doors, boats and marine surfaces to withstand water and harsh weather conditions. Using a blend of tung oil, linseed oil, ultra violet absorbers and resin, L.Co Exterior Varnish forms a flexible, beautiful finish that extends the life and appearance of wood that is placed outside. Our Exterior Varnish has the same high quality ingredients as our interior formulas which makes it easy and simple to apply. Available in high gloss and semi-gloss sheens.
L.Co Exterior Varnish has been formulated for use on outdoor surfaces such as fencing, railings, patio furniture, siding, doors, boats and marine surfaces to withstand water and harsh weather conditions. Provides exceptional adhesion to oily, dense woods like teak, rosewood, and walnut.
For exterior projects, we recommend 1-2 coats of L.Co Exterior Oil Treatment to seal and prime the substrate, followed by 2-3 coats of L.Co Exterior Varnish.
